Organic Loose Herbs
Organic loose herbs are the building blocks of every ATC handmade herbal tea. These herbs are
100% Organic
Food-grade
Sourced from sustainability-focused and eco-friendly suppliers
These gorgeous herbs are sold in 4”x6” resealable kraft packages and contain 4-6 individual servings of your preferred herb or flower.
They can be used in single herb teas, baking, herbal smoking blends, aromatherapy, DIY infusions, and so much more. And of course we’d recommend using a package to make a delicious gallon of iced herbal tea.
—————
To make iced tea using loose herbs or flowers, use a large tea strainer, tea pouch, or you can brew your flowers loose and strain them out later. You can brew traditionally using hot water or cold brew, depending on your preference or time. Organic iced herbal tea is best when it is long brewed, and so be sure to brew for 2+ hours (if you are able) for a full-bodied flavor. Remove the flowers or herbs, sweeten as desired, and refrigerate leftovers. The tea should be stored cold and can remain fresh up to 7 days after brewing.
For one serving of hot tea, use 1 tbsp. of loose herbs for every 8-12 oz. of hot water.
*Organic hibiscus flowers are occasionally intercropped with peanuts and should be avoided by those with severe peanut allergies.
